Pilots
Fly into Sulphur Creek Ranch. We’re located in the SW corner of the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness area, Sulphur Creek Ranch is primarily reached by air. Located just 28nm east of Cascade, ID, our 3,100′ gravel airstrip provides relatively easy access into the backcountry.
The recommended approach is runway 26, and departure from runway 8. If you have not flown in the backcountry before or are not a pilot and would just like charter service to the ranch, you can make a reservation to do so through Arnold Aviation at Cascade Airport (208-382-4844), or other local charter service that serves the backcountry.
The ranch is open from approximately mid-May through mid-October, weather permitting and there are no landing fees. So stop in for the night or just to try one of our popular fly-in breakfasts.
